Heavy Metal Thunder!!!

If you don't like my musical taste, fuck off. Not everyone can be a little pussy teenager who loves such deeply-wretching bands like 'N Suck, The Backdoor Boyz, and all the other whiny fuckin' poseur bands out today who seemed to have evolved out of the sometimes decent but usually shitty grunge scene.

I listen to metal, pure and simple. Yeah, sometimes I even still listen to the the music of the hair bands of the late 80's and early 90's, but that just means that I'm more of a fuckin' man to admit that I listen(ed) to them than those of you out there who laugh wholeheartedly at others when you were the first ones up at the stage to worship people like Jon Bon Jovi.

All right, so here are a handful of the bands that I currently listen to, or have at one point in time. Right now, about all of the links are to other sites, but as I overhaul my entire home page, I intend to create some pages of my own on some of these guys.

The Gods

One of my buddies and I met some of the guys from Pantera and Slayer at the Hard Rock Tokyo after the Beast Feast festival at Yokohama stadium. Don't believe me, here's the proof .

Up and Commers

As far as new bands go, these 2 rank up there for me. Alright, so PM5K has been around for a while, but hey, I haven't kept up with the music scene.

Sell-Outs

Fuck 'em. That's what I say. If all these guys want is to make money and don't care what direction their music takes, I don't care to support their fuckin' livelihood. I do still listen to some Metallica, but only albums prior to their infamous Black album, which started their fall from grace. Now they all want to be a bunch of glam losers, wearing eye-liner and shit. Is it me, or did that kind of shit go out with the 80s?

"Oh, Napster is bad. No, we meant Napster is good." Fuck you.

The Good and the Gone

Well, I guess fame and fortune can't last forever, especially if you can't get along with your bandmates.

Anyway, I recently had an opportunity for a photo with Sebastian Bach . He was shooting for a VH1 special just around the corner from me on St. Marks Place in NYC. You can find the rest of the photos here .

Skid Row

The Roots of Metal

Without these guys, you can totally forget about any of the other bands that exist or have existed. These guys wrote the book on music, as far as I'm concerned.
